Tell us what you think about parents sharing their family-related frustrations, concerns and stories with online readers. Should they obtain their spouses’ and children’s permission first? Would you approve or disapprove if your mother or father were sharing stories about you online – in, say, a blog, or on Facebook or Twitter? What ground rules would you want your parents to agree to? How protective are you of your privacy?
I think that its not necessary for parents to share their family-related frustrations online with readers. I believe this because, several times people have others who they can convey their concerns and stories with. However, it is always a wonderful thing to get a different outlook of someones life from an outside prospective. Yes, they should obtain their spouses and children's permission first. Depending on what kind of stories my parents are sharing of me online, I would be open to make acceptions as long as its not severely private information to my life. Some ground rules that I would want my parents to agree to is to not state too many personal things about myself because I wouldn't want to be exposed to much online. When it comes to my privacy, it is important that most things are kept concealed. I do share some stories with my family and friends but thats under my comfort. Although, most stories I do not feel comfortable to share with others about.
