How do you know if the information you find on line is accurate and truthful?

I'm not 100% sure, but I know if the information is accurate and truthful, due to the amount of people trusting that website and researching knowledge I'm aware of to see if there accurate.

Do you think that a parents should spy on their kid's online life? Is this good parenting or an invasion of privacy?

No , I don't think parents should spy on their kids online life. It's showing no trust, and not giving them a right to live. It is good parenting showing they care and they don't want them doing anything wrong, but it is an invasion of privacy. Because they'll have to do things for there parents satisfaction.

Some web sites hold very dangerous information, for example how to make a bomb. How can we control these Web sites?

To control website's, that holds information on how to make a bomb. We should inform them, that type knowledge can be use in a bad conduct. If someone do use that act of crime, they should be held the same justice as the person who made a web for them to get such knowledge from.

What do you think you should include or not include in your online profile (Google Profile) for this class

I should include work that I'm doing in class on my google profile to educate others and show what I'm working on in class showing a positive message.

What do you think about people who say unkind things to others using a computer? How would you feel if someone said something mean to you on the telephone, in an email, or in an online discussion? Is there a difference between the telephone and the computer?

I don't think saying saying unkind things online is appropriate. Some people say unkind things over the computer because there scared to say it in person. If someone said something to mean on the internet , I would get mad and say something back unkind. Yet I feel saying things online is different from on the phone because you get a better understanding what someone is saying and the tone of there voice and also there's less misunderstanding.

How does being friendly effect you at school, at home and in cyberspace?

If your friendly in school, the way you product yourself, as in respecting others . On websites, peer's are going to respect you the way you friendly and a good person.

Why do you think that Netiquette is necessary for safe and secure online communication? What happens if someone breaks the Netiquette guidelines or social rules?

Yes I believe safe and secure online communication is important. Social networking sites such as Facebook, MySpace and Twitter can seem like  anything goes. But even with the access and enormity of the Web, the rules you once learned on the playground still apply. And If that is broken the police can get involved.

What do you think the potential problems are with giving or sharing personal login information? When do you think it is okay to share this information? Why

The potential problem in giving someone your password is that if problems occur with you guys, your not sure what they can do. As in changing your password and putting wrong things on your website. This may be okay if you and a person have been friends for years, or that's your mate because theirs trust there.

I do not think flaming is acceptable. If someones flame me or someone that I know I think it's right to block them as a friend and let someone know.

f you are in an online gaming room and someone that you do not know asks you about personal information (same age as you-or close), what do you do?

I tell them the wrong information , or say that's none of your concern.

How do you think you should engage in the highly collaborative and interactive Web 2.0 in a safe and responsible manner?

By not giving alot of information for crazy people to get into. Or putting crazy pictures up giving the wrong impression.

If you feel uncomfortable in any chat room, find something "a little weird" on Facbook/MySpace, or just think something is wrong online. What do you think you should do? Why?

If I find somthing wrong, I would change my password. If someone is bothering me remove and block them.

Do you think that the dress code will enhance your learning experience? What do you plan to do differently this year to be more successful in this class and school in general?

Yes I think the dress code will enhance my learning experience because I get dress faster for school. I plan to do all my homework and stay focus this year to get straight A's on my report card.
